01 : ESPACE NIEMEYER
2025
This editorial project translates Oscar Niemeyer’s Espace Niemeyer into printed form, exploring how architecture conveys ideology and rhythm through design. The book mirrors the building’s spatial logic through vertical sequencing and spiral binding.
Concrete scans by Ryder LeVieux, a carpet-textured cover, and vectorized drawings by Niemeyer himself connect material and form. A muted palette of greys and greens evokes the site’s atmosphere, while a strict grid and typographic hierarchy reflect Niemeyer’s balance of openness and control.
FORMAT: LAYOUT + CONCEPT DESIGN
DIMENSIONS: 35×26×3cm, 102 PAGES
TOOLKIT: INDESIGN, ILLUSTRATOR, PHOTOSHOP
