02 : DECONSTRUCTING STEREOTYPES
2024

Deconstructing Stereotypes reflects on bias within the type industry and how design conventions can perpetuate simplified representation.

The publication assembles essays on the ethical and historical dimensions of typography, structured in sections that guide the reader from critique to proposal. Its neutral design uses monospaced type, restrained composition, and careful pacing to foreground content over form, concluding with a reflection on multilanguage typefaces as a more inclusive direction for design.
